Brentford manager Thomas Frank hailed Mohamed Salah following their defeat to Liverpool on Sunday evening.
The Bees were condemned to their fourth defeat of the campaign after losing 3-0 to a dominant Liverpool side at Anfield.
Salah gave Liverpool the lead from a quick combination play with Darwin Nunez before adding another in the second half from a delicate header.
Diogo Jota later got on the scoresheet and netted a screamer to put the game to bed and seal the win for the hosts.
The victory meant that Liverpool are now just a point behind rivals Manchester City after 12 games played as the pair meet after the international break.
“Mo Salah, Klopp is praising him a lot. I don’t know if he gets enough praise,” Thomas Frank said after the game.
“Off the top of my head, potentially the best player in the Premier League in terms of goals and assists. What a level.
“He must be one of the best offensive players in the world – not top 10, top three. I need to think.
“I’m sitting here on the spot but when you think about what he’s done and you have a player of that quality, you just know it’s a problem.
“The second one he can’t avoid because we’re not doing well enough defensively, but the first one is a signature Liverpool attack.
“We lose it, counter-attack, into Salah, bang, goal. Not every player will score from that situation but it shows his quality.
“It’s down to Liverpool’s quality but I’m a big believer [that] if we play this game again, we score at least one goal,” he added.
