Al Masry have completed the signing of Salah Mohsen after Al Ahly terminated his contract by mutual consent.
Al Ahly have parted ways with Salah Mohsen after the latter’s request according to the club’s official statement.
The Red Devils had signed Salah Mohsen from ENPPI six years ago but the forward didn’t manage to cement his place in the starting lineup under any of the club’s managers during that time.
Mohsen was sent out on loan to Smouha and most recently Ceramica Cleopatra where his spell at the latter earned him a lifeline at Al Ahly this season.
However, since returning to the club earlier this season, Mohsen made just seven appearances for Al Ahly, scoring one goal and providing a further assist.
The 25-year-old will now hope to reignite his career at Al Masry under Ali Maher as he becomes their first winter signing.
Mohsen will be expected to replace Marwan Hamdi, who departed for Pyramids FC earlier this month.
