Cairo giants Zamalek have announced their first signing of the January transfer window after their ban has been lifted.
The White Knights finally found a resolution to their registration embargo that was holding them back from making new signings.
As a result, they reached an agreement to bring in Mohamed Atef from second-division outfit Tanta on a permanent deal.
Atefa plays as a midfielder and has attracted interest after his performances this season that saw the 21-year-old score six goals.
He has put pen to paper on a reported four-and-a-half-year contract that will make him stay at Zamalek until the summer of 2028.
