Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has won the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for his performances during October.
Salah had a stellar run of form for the Reds last month as he started scoring with a brace in his side’s 2-2 draw against Brighton.
The Egyptian was at the double again a week later but this time in Liverpool’s 2-0 home victory against rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby.
With his fifth strike of the month coming against Nottingham Forest, the 31-year-old was nominated for the Player of the Month award and entered a six-man shortlist.
Despite facing tough competition from Douglas Luiz, Bryan Mbeumo, Pedro Neto, Declan Rice, and Cristian Romero, Salah won the vote and claimed the award for the fifth time in his Premier League career.
Overall, Salah has netted 10 goals and provided four assists in 16 matches across all competitions this season.
