Egypt have thrashed Djibouti 6-0 in their opening game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah continued to lead Egypt’s attack along with Omar Marmoush, Mostafa Mohamed, and Ahmed Sayed Zizo.
They got off to the perfect start with Salah finding the breakthrough after 17 minutes before dispatching a penalty just seconds later.
