Former Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane talked about his time in Cairo and the success he had leading the Red Devils.
Mosimane is considered one of the most successful managers at Al Ahly after winning a number of domestic and continental trophies.
The South African was recently praised by Al Ahly’s former director of football Sayed Abdel-Hafiz as he took to social media to thank the latter for his words.
In his post, Mosimane also recalled his time with Al Ahly and their progress in the FIFA Club World Cup where they finished third in the last two editions of the tournament.

“Best moments and memories with Al Ahly SC,” Mosimane said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“We were like the Vikings and raided Africa, South America, and really punished Asia, only to be stopped by Europe.
“At least we always came home with a bronze medal as the third-best team in the world. I’ll take these great football memories down to the grave,” he added.
