Al Ahly boss Marcel Koller has rued missed chances in his side’s draw against Young Africans in the CAF Champions League.
The Red Devils were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw in the second round of the Champions League group stages on Saturday evening.
Despite taking the lead late in the game through Percy Tau, Young Africans managed to grab a late leveller following a defensive lapse in concentration.
Marcel Koller spoke about his side’s performances after the game and believes they should be heading back to Egypt with all three points.

“We had so many chances to score in the first half but unfortunately we couldn’t convert them,” Koller said after the game.
“There was some improvement in the second half as we had more control and created more chances but it wasn’t enough in the end.
“I’m happy with [Amr] El-Sulya’s return because he’s one of our most experienced players in the team and he gave us more fluidity in midfield when he came on,” he added.
