Egypt’s Tarek Hamed helped Damac secure a comfortable 3-1 victory over Ittihad Jeddah in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday.
Hamed faced his former side for the first time this season at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium as Damac managed to pull off a huge upset.
Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Georges-Kévin N’Koudou initially gave Damac the lead after 12 minutes with a thumping finish past Marcelo Grohe.
Despite Aberrazak Hamdallah’s leveller from the spot in added time of the first half, N’Koudou made sure his side headed into the break with a 2-1 lead.

The Cameroonian pounced on a loose ball and unleashed a belter into the top corner to net his and Damac’s second of the night.
After the restart, it was Tarek Hamed’s turn to get in on the act as the midfielder decided to rifle a powerful shot from distance that hit the bar and Grohe on the rebound before going in.
His strike was ultimately given as an own goal as his wait to get his first goal for Damac this season continues.
The result moved Damac to sixth place in the Saudi Pro League table with 24 points after 16 games played.
