Al Ahly head coach Marcel Koller has urged his side to improve their finishing after their disappointing draw with CR Belouizdad.
The Red Devils extended their winless run to three games on Friday evening when they hosted Algeria’s CR Belouizdad in the CAF Champions League group stages.
Despite dominating the game in terms of possession and chances created, Al Ahly were unable to find the back of the net and the game ended in a goalless stalemate.
Speaking after the game, Koller reflected on his side’s performance and believes they should’ve had all three points.
“We are very disappointed with the result because we were supposed to win today,” Koller said after the game. “We tried our best but it just wasn’t enough.
“Our main problem is that we don’t take our chances and we need to work on that because this has been a recurring theme for a while now.
“Again, we create chances, but we don’t score, which is strange to me,” he added.
