Mahmoud Kahraba believes Al Ahly will come out on top against his former side Ittihad Jeddah in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Ittihad Jeddah claimed a dominant 3-0 win over New Zealand’s Auckland City in their opening game of the competition last week.
Their victory secured qualification for the next round and set up a highly-anticipated clash against Egyptian champions Al Ahly.
Speaking ahead of the game on Friday, Kahraba expressed his delight to face Ittihad and believes in the Reds’ chances on Friday.
“I think it’s an incredible coincidence that I get to play against my former team,” Kaharaba said in the press conference.
“I know the city very well and it’s great that I get to meet Ittihad fans once again. It will be a special moment.
“Ittihad have a number of world-class players like Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Fabinho but we are Al Ahly and we do not fear anyone,” he added.
