Damac are reportedly interested in signing Al Ahly goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy in the January transfer window.
After winning multiple league and cup titles with Al Ahly in the last four years, it seems El-Shenawy could be on the move next month.
El-Shenawy is considered one of the main pillars of the team but with his contract running out in the summer of 2025, the Reds may listen to offers for the 35-year-old.
According to Sada El-Balad, Damac’s representatives have contacted Al Ahly officials during the latter’s run in the recent Club World Cup.

It’s being reported that the Cairo giants have received a verbal offer of an 18-month loan contract for a fee in the region of $1.5 million with an option to turn the deal permanent for the same cost.
However, Al Ahly officials intend to keep El-Shenawy at the club for the time being with Marcel Koller keen on having the shot-stopper in his squad.
The Egyptian has over 280 appearances in all competitions for Al Ahly since joining them from Petroject back in 2016.
