Cairo giants Al Ahly have reportedly submitted a huge bid to sign Danish forward Wessam Abou Ali from Swedish outfit IK Sirius.
The Red Devils have been searching for a clinical striker for a while now despite signing a number of players in the summer.
Marquee-signing Anthony Modeste has been heavily criticised by fans and pundits as the Frenchman has just one goal in 10 games.
However, Al Ahly may have found the solution to their attacking problems after identifying their next target in the January transfer window.

IK Sirius centre-forward Wessam Abou Ali has been reportedly attracting a lot of interest from Al Ahly after a sensational season in Sweden.
The 24-year-old hit 26 strikes in 50 games across all competitions last season as his impressive performances inspired Al Ahly officials to submit a bid in the region of $1.5 million according to Danish newspaper B.T.
However, the report added that the proposal was rejected by Sirius, who are also listening to offers from other clubs around the world as the player currently has a contract that runs until the summer of 2027.
It’s worth noting that Abou Ali is of Palestinian descent and has represented Denmark at the youth level but is yet to play for the first team.
