Saudi club Al-Shabab have not given up hope of signing Ahmed Sayed Zizo and reportedly reopened talks with Zamalek over a potential winter move.
Zizo has been heavily linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League for a while and was close to leaving the White Castle according to multiple reports.
Al-Shabab in particular had a reported €5 million bid rejected by the Zamalek board back in August as they ‘refused the idea’ of selling Zizo in the summer.With only 18 points midway through the season, Al-Shabab have been struggling and are still keen on bringing in reinforcements in January despite signing Belgium’s Yannick Carrasco and former Wolves defender Romain Saiss.

According to Saudi publication Asharq Al-Awsat, Zizo remains on the top of Al-Shabab’s wishlist and they will do everything in their power to land his signature this winter.
Zizo’s contract with Zamalek runs out in the summer of 2025 and has had an impressive start to the season scoring seven goals and providing three assists in 13 games across all competitions.
