Baladeyet El-Mahalla have officially announced the signing of former Zamalek player Abdallah Gomaa on a free transfer.
Gomaa’s transfer to Baladeyet El-Mahalla comes after the player mutually terminated his contract with Zamalek recently.
The 28-year-old joined Zamalek from Enppi in 2017, featuring in 150 matches, scoring two goals, and providing 15 assists.
Gomaa played two matches for Zamalek during the current season, against Sagrada in the CAF Confederation Cup, and Pyramids in the 2023 Egyptian Cup semi-final.
Baladeyet El Mahalla shared a video introducing the player under the title “The Magician Now at Baladeyet El Mahalla.”
El Mahalla, positioned 13th with 10 points from 10 matches, have been notably active in the recent transfer market.
The club additionally acquired Hamza Magdi from El-Dakhleya and Mohammed Nahiri, the former left-back of Raja Casablanca from Morocco.
Gomaa’s addition adds depth and experience to the squad, reflecting the club’s ambition to compete at the highest level.
