Al Ahly will have the backing of 30,000 fans at Cairo Stadium for their encounter against Young Africans in the final round of the CAF Champions League group stage.
The Red Devils will face Tanzanian club Young Africans at Cairo Stadium in the sixth and final round of Group D matches in the CAF Champions League next Friday.
Sources revealed that the African Giants have obtained approval from the security authorities to allow 30,000 fans to attend the upcoming match against Young Africans.
Both teams have secured their spots in the quarter-finals after Al Ahly defeated Medeama with a clean goal, followed by Young Africans’ 4-0 victory over CR Belouizdad in the fifth-round matches.
Al Ahly raised their tally to nince points topping Group D, while Medeama remained at four points in fourth place. Young Africans came second with eight points, and CR Belouizdad is third with five points.
The Reds need only one point in their match against Young Africans from Tanzania to secure the top spot in Group D.
