Ceramica Cleopatra midfielder Ahmed Kendouci has been called up to the Algerian national team for the March international break.
Ahmed Kendouci made the move to the Egyptian Premier League last year, joining Cairo giants Al Ahly on a long-term deal.
The 24-year-old however failed to break into Marcel Koller’s starting lineup and was loaned out to Ceramica Cleopatra last summer.
Since then, he has managed to hit double figures in goal contributions across all competitions in a stellar campaign so far.
With seven goals and five assists in 15 games, Kendouci has earned his spot in the Algeria squad as he joins a number of high-profile players led by Ismail Bennacer, Houssem Aouar, and Said Benrahma.
Algeria are set to play two friendlies next week as they play Bolivia on Friday, March 22nd before facing South Africa on Tuesday.
