Liverpool star Mohamed Salah expressed his delight after winning the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) Men’s Player of the Year award.
Salah was rewarded with the accolade after another sensational year with the Reds that saw the Egyptian score 27 goals and provide 16 assists.
The 31-year-old also managed to beat competition from Erling Haaland, Rodri, Bukayo Saka, Kieran Trippier, and Ollie Watkins.
Additionally, it’s his third Player of the Year award by the association having claimed it previously in 2018 and 2021.
“I want to thank everybody for the FSA award, especially because it’s voted by fans,” Salah wrote on X. “I just want to say thank you very much, I appreciate it.”
